A great mixture of rock, pop, psychedelia and a bit of folk makes this record very special. Gonzalo are a tight and fun band with big songs that sound great live and on the record.
The core of all the tracks – drums, bass and acoustic guitar – was recorded all together in a sort of live situation in the studio with very few takes, no click track at all. We then overdubbed violins, synths and vocal parts.
